I was looking into heading to F&M Saturday night at 5 for dinner and some beers with a group of 5. My first question is should I expect it to be incredibly busy. I was also wondering if they fill growlers or what exactly is their policy. I tried to look up the growler question but was not able to find any answers. Thanks for any help.

What I have found on the weekends at forest and main it depends on the weather. If it's really nice out expect a bigger crowd and less if it's raining. Also even if there is a crowd the wait shouldn't be more than 20 mins or so. You could sit on the porch and wait to be seated. They fill third party Growlers and rarely have stock of their own, so if you want to take put beer bring some Growlers.

Get there at 4 on a Saturday, it can fill up quick.

Unless they've changed things since the last time I was there, I would anticipate most if not all of their English style beers being served from cask via hand pump. Therefore no growler fills for those beers.

Thanks for the all the help guys. I see they don't serve dinner until 5 on saturday but an hour of drinking before dinner sounds great for me. Now I just need to convince my brother and his wife who don't drink to sit and watch me drink for an hour.
