Forgot to add pecan flavoring to Porter

    I brewed a pecan Porter from AHS. I am kegging the beer, I've had it carbonating for 5 days now. I just realized I did not add the pecan flavoring to the keg, will I mess anything up if I burp all the co2 out and open the keg and put the pecan flavoring in and shake the hell out of the keg?

    You can do this. Avoid splashing. Re-purge afterward. I wouldn't bother shaking the keg.

    If it's extract, you can just add it to the top. It will sort itself out in a few days.
