The IPA from Abandoned was probably The Other End. I think that's the last double IPA he released. New City Brewery is here too.

The water thing, I find funny. Don't know how many times I've heard, "Must be the water! Yukyuktyuk," whenever someone is talking about Easthampton.

Just moving through my first 6 pack of jigsaw jazz and I'm blown away. Great balance of tropical favors with a nice bite. Not a die hard fan of pure juice bombs, so this is right up my ally and reminds me a little bit of epiphany from foundation. The price point is just the icing on the cake.

Just bumping this up since I had Fresh Pick on tap last night which I thought was great and got a 6 pack of Farmers Fresh later which was surprisingly good and I think it was 8.99 for a 6 pack. I know it is hard for a newish brewery to get any attention with Trillium and Treehouse to compete with but I was sort of shocked that these beers were as good as they were and I hadn't really heard them mentioned before.

I'll jump in on the last post and say that Hera Pils is a very nice Czech-style pilsner as well.

G-Fresh is the closest thing I've tasted to actual grapefruit juice in a beer, too. Probably not everyone's style as it is super grapefruity, but another solid beer from them for sure.

Yeah, for me if Jigsaw was 1 to 1.5% lower somewhere around 8% it would be even better.

Yeah that one was over the top, only beer that I was convinced had actual juice in it.

I'm pretty sure it does. If you pop it open, the entire room smells of grapefruit. Its a great warm weather, sitting on the deck kinda beer

I was very impressed with this one. Loved the tropical fruits and at $10.99 for a 6 pack I'll have these in my regular rotation as long as I can get them.

Haven’t checked recently, are these guys still not dating cans? If so, you all sure do live on the edge . Perhaps they move fast enough in stores to not worry about it? Would love to try them but bottle/can dating is hard rule for me

I'm not sure about pure juice, but it is made with actual grapefruits.
    G-FRESH
Our Farmer's Fresh Session IPA gets even juicier with the addition of grapefruit for an extra citrus kick. This brew is light, hoppy, and refreshing - perfect for summer sipping.

No dates. I only purchased because Redstone tweeted they just got some in and I assumed they were fresh. Tasted really fresh as well.

The first can I had of G-Fresh was not on a fresh palate, and I checked how it was made because I was astounded at how they got it to taste like ACTUAL grapefruit juice. Nothing like beer. I hadn't decided whether or not this was actual good thing or not. I had my second can on a fresher palate and decided...no, it's not a good thing for me personally.

Trillium/Treehouse and other NE style IPAs have been said to taste "like fruit juice". I'm not sure I could tell the difference in a blind tasting between G-Fresh and actual grapefruit juice.

Fresh Pick was a miss for me, same with Jiggsaw Jazz. Either one of them or both, had an odd taste I couldn't pin point, and overall they were both too bitter (and not a good bitter like a West Coast style IPA). Jiggsaw was my favorite out of all of them, because I picked up some nice tropical fruit flavors from it.

The Rauchbier was decent, not Schlenkerla good, but I'd probably try it again. Unfortunately I only grabbed a single.

As other posters have said, Redstone posts when they come in, and my brother picked some up for me and him. I assumed they were fresh, I don't recall them tasting old.

I LOVE the pricing obviously, but between no dates on the cans and a mediocre first run through a few of their beers, I can't say I'll be picking them up anytime soon. I would probably try them again on draft though and/or pick up cans of their Pils to try, and the Rauchbier again.

As someone who works in a shop that carries Fort Hill's beer and easily goes through the entire delivery (usually 20+ cases) within days of it being delivered, I assure you there is nothing to worry about in regards to freshness. We receive it often times within days of it being canned, if not on the day it is canned.

I saw some of their DIPA at a Oakdale packie in Tewksbury for $9.99 per 6 pack. A decent but not great beer, a winner on price. IIRC their single IPA was $7.99 & it's decent too.

I took a chance on some Herra pils at Total Wine for 6.49 a sixzer. Pretty good Czech pils with a soft pleasant body - would buy again. It's amazing to think it's the exact same price as a sixer of Bud Light.I thought small craft breweries weren't able to offer their goods at this price...
