I had the megahops right out of the fermenter last Saturday. Still need some dry hop time and it obviously wasn't carbonated, but it was pretty balanced. I hope more hop character comes through with the final product. And tho we have a few beers that are above average, the beer, for the most part, (see old soul) still needs a lot of work

Let's not disparage the entire SWFL beer scene because of one brewery. I listened to the people...my Brewery Tour doesn't stop there.

 

I'll be in town next week, I usually hit up TW or ABC and scoop up plenty of Cigar City stuff, but also wondering whether Funky Buddha is available at these bottle shops in FM? Really want to try MBCP, but understand my chances of finding that are slim to none. Any other recommendations of local stuff to pick up at these stores? I'll definitely be by FMB and Point Ybel quite a bit, too. Thanks!

 

Finding Hop Gun and Floridian 6pks won't be hard but bombers of MCBP (brewery release only) and Last Snow from Funky Buddha are long gone.
You should also try to check out Momentum and Fat Point breweries if you get a chance.
