So my company is making me go to its office in Keller TX. From what I hear, there is nothing to do there. But if anyone could give me some recommendations of bottle shops and beer bars and good places to eat that would be very helpful. I looked up on Places on BA and there were a lot of chains which makes me skeptical. I hope to get some goodies from Jester King or anything else that doesnt make it to Chicago. Any help is much appreciated. Thank You!

There's a small Specs just North of Keller on hwy 377. Central Market is down 1709 a few miles to the East in Southlake. Halls is a 20-30 min drive as well.
Funky Baja has some good tacos and a few decent locals on draft. Shannon Brewing is in town and Bearded Eel isn't too far away.

If you're in town a few days you might as well just head down 35 south and go to downtown Fort Worth, 7th street or Magnolia.

I'd offer some suggestions but geez, you could have tried to come off a little nicer.

I remember when my sister was still living in Chicago and she'd call me and ask if we "ever heard of" this or that like we were some backwoods shit hole. There's 6 million plus folks around here. But, hey, sorry you HAVE to come here.

If you need a Bed, Bath & Beyond or any other chain swill then Keller is the place. It's hard to find decent beer in the area.

The Specs at 170 and 377 is the closest bottle shop. There is Shannon Brewing south of Specs on 377. If you are looking for a bar then your best option might be Jack & Grill in Roanoke but that isn't saying much. You would be much, much better off going south into downtown Fort Worth.

It is a shithole. His attitude is appropriate.

Mellow Mushroom in Southlake usually has a great tap selection and pretty good pizza too.

This should have been my local watering hole suggestion over Jack & Grill.

Go to Collective Brewing Project in Ft. Worth.

This and hit up Martin House on a Thurs for cheap beers and to check out the randall. Plenty of good food down the street from Collective off Magnolia Ave. Also close to downtown.
