I just wanted to post some info about this new beer centric location in Fort Worth.

    http://theliveoak.com/

40+ taps all priced well (nothing exotic but plenty of great), tons of bottles, a very nice food menu, and top notch venue (at least when they work out some of the kinks). Filling my beer needs for these weeks the Saucer is AWOL just became a little easier.

Nice tap list. No foreign nationals mucking up the waters....so to speak.

Wow !! What a great selection.

It really blows Gingerman away, I love the place but the selection to me has always sucked

Also, the Saucer has always been way too busy

Is the bar with taps accessible without paying a cover for the music? Or can you only get in if you pay a cover.

    Thanks

Nice place. Not a sports bar in the least as no TV's. Decor is comfortable upscale. The bar is really part of the dining room although there are a couple of "bar" top tables that mark the boundry. Nice food menu. Tap menu will never match the on-line menu but that is a good thing as they have newer stuff than what you see on-line. Nice patio on southside and the roof will be a popular place on comfortable evenings.
