I learned from the can that if you drink enough, you can play bocci ball with the empties lol

I can't remember. I also don't know if it's typically a reference to caramel coloring - which I'm assuming is widespread enough in brewing (and not just from the big guys). You might recall the case of Newcastle changing their recipe not too long ago. There is surprisingly little regulation with what needs to be declared on packaging. I do recall a beer by the terribly named "Blank Brewing" that stated it had artificial colors right on the can... but it might have been because it was brewed with kids' cereal or something (as opposed to them aiming for color consistency... I don't know). I think once you use certain specific colors, it has to go on the label.

I like the idea better of playing with the cans full -- they certainly would roll better, plus you don't have to drink the beer.

Lol, RR ice cold is drinkable, you might get a bit of head in the glass if you shake the bottle before you pop it, but there's not a worse beer in the world as it warms a bit. Ugh, no thanks.

Since this thread has been brought back to life, I might as well mention that since making the post above, I've seen this on a can of Omnipollo Noa: "imperial stout with natural & artificial flavors & artificial caramel color added". I'm not crying foul, I'm just stating what's on the can. I would imagine that if labeling regulations were stricter in regards to beer ingredients, we'd see a lot of similarly labeled beers.
