Funny thread...I literally just got home from a store close to me and they had Dirty Bastard as well.

Let me add, in the future buy everything from Founders that they have.
When the Breakfast Stout comes in buy as much as you can. You won't be sorry.

I bought Curmudgeon and didn't really care for it. Red's and Cent IPA are both AMAZING! A must have in my fridge even living 15mins away from Founders. Those are some steep prices. Sad, because they are such stellar beers!

The only thing I can say is, if you stock up on FBS, keep it in a fridge. I stocked up and kept it in a cool basement and it still lost some of it's wonderful flavor. Even with that loss, it's tasty! I now am searching Craig's List daily for beer fridges...

I didn't really like Curnodgeon either. It was the first Founders product I had that wasn't a homerun.

I loved Old Ale thought it was amazing, on the other hand when I first tried it side by side with Better Half I didn't like it. Second try it was amazing

I agree, the porter is my benchmark for sure!

Tried OC for the first time tonight, and frankly not a fan.

I'm with you man, reading this is getting annoying. People hardly read all the posts nor care to call a beer by its correct name.

The OP continues to call it "OC" immediately after I made my post saying it's not called Old Curmudgeon. Why he bother making a thread on here if he's not going to bother to read the replies?

Love Founders, but, if you want my opinion, avoid Backwoods Bastard at all costs. Loved Dirty Bastard, but Backwoods is - in my humble opinion - an unbalanced mess.

It's like sucking on a vanilla bean and snorting molasses (which might taste good if you like vanilla and molasses).

To each his own, I love Backwoods Bastard and all it's bold bourbon goodness.

I know to each his own, but Backwoods is one of their best beers in my opinion, especially on tap. I remembering reviewing it very highly.

Fresh Curmudgeon I am not a fan of but with a couple years on it just completely blows my mind how delicious it becomes. As for FBS I try to drink them as freshly as possible to maintain that excellent coffee flavor. Now the ones in my fridge that I crack tend to be much more chocolate forward. Still not a loss by any means just not the same beer as fresh.
