Gotta say, I was surprised at just how good they are. A bit of a gem here in Maine, I really expect them to take off. Browns get lost in the hoppy/sour world right now and Burnside can hang with any I've had The Ember was well done as well, plan to get a 750 for thanksgiving. Worth the stop if you're in the area
They are a great brewery for saison-lovers. Enjoyed several of their weekly special infusions over the summer & fall.
I love Foundation. I filled my growler pretty much every weekend over the summer. I haven't been going as often lately since I'm not into farmhouse ales as much during the colder months, but I'm drinking a 32 oz growler of the coffee infused Burnside right now and it's one of my favorite beers I've had from them.
had the Burnside w/coffee on Sat 11/22 really solid brew.... grabbed a growler and a bottle of Eddy... small brewery but cool place to visit..... cheers!
Seconded about the Burnside. I just grabbed some Burnside with Coffee this weekend to stash away for Thanksgiving.
I have it on good authority that there will be a limited release of Eddy 750 ml bottles to retailers in Maine at the end of next week.
Had Blaze on tap this past Saturday at Armsby Abbey - Damn Good... Might have to keep an eye out for some in Maine this weekend
Agreed - Blaze is darn tasty. I had the opportunity to stop in this past spring and I was impressed with their lineup. Definitely looking forward to my next stop in Portland to try some of the new stuff they've been working on.
