I strike out on their hoppy cans every time I visit ME. This weekend was the same. But plenty of Forge left over. Grabbed a couple 4 packs. Wow solid Impy. Totally on par with FIS. Not as hoppy, but terrific hoppy stout. Glad I pulled the trigger.

Same exact thing for me. Wife picked up some forge for me in Kittery in Saturday. I'm not even a RIS kind of guy but this stuff is great.

i've had the same experience wFoundation -- except for this past Friday when I showed up at 11:30 .....to an empty parking lot....then watched folks line up for BB.....and one dude line up at Foundation. It was just the two of us in line at Foundation at noon....walked in and bought a case of epiphany. Just loving that beer. Got a 4 of the Forge as well - it's big and tasty.

Same deal on Saturday. Showed up at 1150 and there were 3 of us waiting for foundation. Must have been 200 for BB Swish lines. Walked in and out with a case of piff and some forge - agree it is smooth and tasty. Came back at 2, waited about 20 minutes at BB and got some swish then.

Did anyone see the people who got the last four packs of Epiphany this weekend? Oy :astonished:

I'll be up there this Friday and hope to score some Epiphany if they will have any.

I'm looking to come up on the Wednesday Swish release late in March. But Foundation is closed Wednesdays. If anyone would like to pre-purchase some Epiphany for me (at least 8 cans, preferably 12+) I can offer up some Trillium or any other Boston distro beers as trade. Anybody able & willing to do this PM me. Trip not set in stone yet as BB hasn't released the schedule that far out yet but they seem to always do a Wednesday Swish release later in the month.

Does Foundation release Epiphany on any type of schedule like BB does?

Good question since I don't see anything on their website. Just lists what's on that week and not even sure when they update that.

Epiphany sees pretty wide distro throughout Maine on release weeks

HTG, my friend and I were the other two. Such a solid beer. And yes it does see distro but it goes FAST everywhere and most places have 4 pack max at the most, some are 2 cans/pp. Generally better off making the trek up to stock up. Also hyped that Austin St will be canning sometime in the next few months.

Foundation posted their canning schedule on Facebook. No where near as often as places like BB.

How would you feel about posting that schedule here. I don't have FB.

Oh wow I just so happen to be planing a trip up on the weekend of March 3-5 and it looks like they will have epiphany, and BB will have swish, looks like I got lucky.

My advice is go to epiphany first, then BB. This past week, foundation only saved 30 cases of epiphany for saturday, while BB had 170+ cases of Swish @ 1/2 case per person (plenty to go around). Foundation had barely a line at opening. If you go BB first, plan to get there very early and bring cash so you can be one of the first people through line, otherwise you run the risk of missing out on epiphany.

There's a possibility of heading up to Portland on Saturday and Foundation is a spot I'd like to go (again).

Can anyone speak to the website, Facebook, Twitter reliability in terms of what's available? It says Epiphany and Blaze and some bottled offerings on the website, but FB said they were canceling a run of cans.

What about stores? Would I be able to find the RIS? I'd be interested most in the stout and epiphany. Foundation would be the only reason to head over to Industrial (yes, yes, I know Austin Street and Bissell Bros and Allagash, I know). Just wanted to see how accurate everything was on their social media or if I'd be better off just hitting up Bier Cellar and sitting my ass on a chair at duck fat eating as much poutine as I can.

Does Foundation hold back any cans for Saturday or am I best popping in on Friday to be safe if I will be up there both days? Visiting this weekend. Thanks
