"And, yes, if you didn’t catch that, we are going to move Breakfast Stout from a four-pack to a six-pack when it is released again in October 2013, and it will maintain the same suggested retail price of $9.99."

    Oh fuck yeah!

So does this mean prices for current four packs in distribution should go down, right? I find that statement incredibly hard to believe.

KBS Release moved back a month. Now when they cut your allotment they can claim it's just an April Fool's Joke.

Have to say I'm pretty happy with all of this. I love Red's Rye, but it was a bit difficult to find fresh bottles.

Sad to see Reds go to draft-only but I am 10 minutes from the brewery and have plenty of growlers.
Hope they evaluate their other 4-pack offerings as well.

I am interested to see if Backwoods will actually sit on the shelves for a while or still fly like crazy.....

In some places it is sitting on the shelf right now.

I would say it will fly still. It is a great beer.

I saw it at two bottle shops in Traverse City. One had cases of it stacked up, also had some cases of Curmudgeon from spring 2012.

I actually have some old Red's Rye and I think it tastes great. I just had some the other day that was at least 9 months old.

Breakfast Stout going to a sixer is simply the best news I've heard yet for the coming year of '13. The price point here in Ohio is $11.99 for the 4 banger, not quibbling just saying.

Some stuff flies here, but yeah, I know of a few stores in town that still have it. They all have multiple bottles of Bolt Cutter too.

Good decisions all around on Founder's part. I, for one, will be giving them quite a few of my paychecks next year.

I'm pumped to try Rubaeus. The last time it was released was before I was into craft beer at all. Nice changes, for sure. I love Founders. They do it right.

I still have a bottle or two of 2008 Rubaeus so that'll be an interesting one to see how it's aged.
