One of the stores around here had it back in January or February and another still has a couple of 4 packs. I wouldn't be surprised if the distributor had some sitting in a warehouse.

Love Harvest Ale! So crisp and delicious! I could drink a 4pk in a sitting.

Drinking a Harvest Ale right now, tasting really good this year. I also also got a 4-pack of the latest KBS batch. The price finally came down a little (from $22.99 to $18.99). It seems like some of the bourbon flavor came back, which I thought had been missing for the last couple of years.

Founder's sent an email the other day announcing Blushing Monk will be released December 2nd out of their two taprooms, and throughout the rest of the country (except Utah) later in the month.

I still have a few bottles from the previous release, stoked they are issuing more next month. It's one of my favorite "Fruit and Field Beers" (as classified here), and unlike New Glarus' offerings, which I also love, I can purchase them here.

Would love to see Tank Bender Eisbock make a return and be in the 12oz/4 pack format. Maybe 2021. Also the Imperial Stout...must have been very limited because I only saw it a few places and disappeared from shelves quickly. I never got any this cycle.

I don’t even think they released the regular FIS in 2020 (they did in late-2019, though). I hope they release it in January or February of 2021, but that would be a change to their normal schedule.

AFAIK, the only FIS product released in 2020 has been the barrel-aged version, which is a Michigan exclusive.

Oh, I’m probably thinking of the late 2019 Imperial Stout release then. I still saw very limited and sparse amounts in MD.

I've seen a ton of it at Meijer stores in their holiday beer/booze section, just picked up another bottle today. You might want to try one near you.

Lol, I’ve never heard/seen a Meijer store in any of my travels. But I’ve never been to Michigan yet so maybe it’s regional. Is the Tank Bender new release or old stock? Just wondering if you happen to know (or does anyone else know)?

Tank Bender was a barrel aged eisbock they did. It was at least two years ago and possibly three or four years. It was sold in a 750 ml bottle only. It was very good.

If memory serves me correct, Founders was featured on some kind of show centered around food and/or drink. I believe they made the eisbock for the show. I had the eisbock at Founders. It was rather ordinary on its own but it was glorious after time in the barrel.

FWIW, Meijer is a regional store similar to Walmart. It started in Michigan and has slowly spread outward from Michigan. It is family owned. They would probably be much bigger now if they went public years ago.

I wish these were released elsewhere. Maybe in the future

It's a curious thing, the 'new' RIS from Founders - every single bottle and 4 pack I've seen in beer stores or grocery stores was date stamped 11-6-2109. Sale price at Meijer at least was $11 a 4 pack. So I guess if they were stored well, they should be good, albeit not fresh.
