This said it for me, I love the beer but ponying up $12 for a 6 pack of session beer hurts. I have been drinking allot of Narragansett Summer at $8 for 6 tall boys instead.

I think it's a very good session beer but I recently had Schlafly Can Session IPA and I prefer that to All Day. It's less expensive plus the All Day at my local stores was bottled in January, the Schlafly was canned 2 weeks ago. Hopefully when All Day is available in 12 packs of cans the price per ounce will decrease, hoping for $15-16 per 12 pack.

Its not terrible but its not great either. Its a little too grassy for my tastes. A session beer...nope I can maybe have one.

Why do you drink a Session IPA when you can just drink a normal IPA that has a lot more flavor and pop? I had All Day and I was glad I only bought a single bottle. Do yourself a favor and just buy Centennial, you will be much happier that you did. Plus the price isnt that different.

I like All Day a lot, but prefer Lagunitas Daytime.

It's just ok for me. I have had it numerous times but I never can get over the thin/unsatisfying mouthfeel of it. I think the balance of malt/hop is pretty good but I still think it is a strip tease, work me over and then let me down. FWIW, I brew mostly sub 4.5 ABV styles for myself and I never have the mouthfeel issue even on simple grist with 100% pale malt. Not sure what sort of yeast they are using or attenuation they are getting, but the beer to me is overly thin. It is a good beer but not the perfect session beer IMHO.

I didn't find it to be that good. I prefer many other beers in that abv range .

It's all subjective, but not really. I definitely notice it more with the low-ABV IPA's (Levitation as an even "thinner" example). I'd rather have a hefe, bitter, or pilsner at any time over those. Daytime being an exception - that stuff is great..

im not cheap, believe me. but my local bottle ship charged $21 for a growler fill! unforgiveable, every craft brew fan knows that.

decent brew, if only it was priced accordingly...meaning SNPA prices here in NY.

I just scanned through and I can't believe nobody has mentioned Gumballhead. IMO it's the perfect session beer along with Shoals Pale Ale. Nothing against All Day, it's a good beer that I had this winter but I can't wait to revisit it soon when it's gets warmer up here. I think it's going to be one of my go to's this summer...CHEERS

All day IPA not bad when I want that type of beer for a session beer, but I occasionally go to a place that BYOB and if I am going to be there 4-5 hours I usually pick up some NEBCO Elm City Pilsner (5% ABV), perhaps higher abv then some want from a session.

Well I can say that I can not remember liking a 4% ABV beer to qualify as a session beer. IMO since I usually drink high ABV beer anything under 6% ABV is a bloody session beer to me...CHEERS mate

It's so good that I got a quarter keg of it. Simply delicious, flavorful and aromatic. You could literally drink it all day. Tested that out last sunday.

Just had this and it is a hell of a tasty beer.....a billion times better than Sierra Pale Ale....and in my top tier of all IPA's (even though it probably is an IPA/APA tweener)

    Delicious. Drinking one right now.

Local store had a Bells rep tasting beers and i chatted with him for awhile, tasted his Oberon. I then proceeded to pick up a six pack of All Day IPA and exit the area. He saw, but What can you do.
