    Here comes the uninvited asshole:

My least favorite Founders beer. Red's Rye should get back to being year-round in bottles.

Saw this on Twitter a few minutes ago as well. This is great news. One of my favorite session beers and I can't wait to have 12pk cans available all year round.

I've looked at this photo, read the responses, comments etc. Can someone explain to me how it will be available year round?

My reading of the chart, says available March-December. Yes, All Day IPA is not listed under "Year Rounds" but is not offered year round. I know sitting on shelves for a couple months will have it more readily available during that Winter bridge period.

Don't get me wrong, I love the change. I probably wouldn't crave an All Day IPA in February, but that is still a month in the year.

Sounds good to me. I love that beer and my tastes for lower abv beers increases I am quite excited to know that it'll be around more frequently.

This is the first Founders offering I've had that I wasn't overly impressed with. If I want something lighter in body and hoppy, just give me a well made pale ale.

It's the 2013 release calendar. When they release the 2014 calendar I'm sure there will be all months. Very confusing graphic to me as well.

Also, a bit of a PR blunder as it was initially a year round beer from the first PR, "Founders Brewing Co.’s Co-Founder and Vice President of Marketing, Dave Engbers, announced today that All Day IPA would be the next addition to the brewery’s year-round lineup, with availability limited to Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, and the greater Chicago area beginning on February 6, 2012."

I'll probably be more inclined to buy this in the 12pk of cans, otherwise I feel pretty apathetic about it. I rather them do Red Rye again, or better yet, do the black ipa I had on tap a few weeks ago. That stuff was amazing.

Oh. I thought it was year round already. I see it all the time.

I think the more important news is that FBS won't be available until mid-Sept or early Oct. Year-round All-Day just means it will be harder to find fresh, just like Red's Rye was.

I think what they're getting across with that picture is that, in October, it will become a year 'round beer. It's under seasonal AND year 'round, but only "year 'round" starting in October. We have to assume that from there forward it will be available every month. They can't change what already happened at the beginning of this year.

    ^^This!

Their blog indicates this as well. "We’ve updated our availability calendar for the remainder of 2013, for your convenience."

It used to be a Mar-Sept. seasonal, but they are adding it to the year round rotation starting in Oct. of this year (which is when it used to come out of rotation for the year).

That makes perfect sense. I think they did a pretty good job making it clear it was going to be year round. But for some reason my brain couldn't rectify year round with a couple months missing in the chart. Even though based on what the chart was, it was labeled properly.

I really hope they lower the price on the 12pk/cans. If it ends up being around $16-$18, I'll rarely buy it at that price.

i think that it's great news, however I buy lower ABV beers during the warmer months. Then when the fall and winter months come around I'm more apt to purchase 6-7% ABV and up IPA's, RIS, Impy Stouts, Old ales and barleywines. All day IPA reminds me more of a great drinking sessionable summer time beer.

...and hidden in this news is announcing that FBS is no longer going to be in 6-packs as stated before. Which sucks a lot.

I didn't see the "news" since I don't do Facebook but I haven't seen it in 6 pks. for quite some time.

I didn't notice that until I went to their website. Now I'm really bummed.
