All Day really benefits from being poured into a glass (or plastic cup if you're in a glass-free area). When consumed straight from the can I find it to be particularly sharp and astringent tasting, but the flavor/mouthfeel rounds out when poured. Still, given the style and the fact that it comes in cans, I end up drinking straight from the can when the situation dictates.

    What adjunct specifically?

From Jeremy Kosmicki at the talk he did at the NHC in Grand Rapids.

50% Rahr two row, 20% flaked oats (an adjunct, not barley as I said above) 5 other grains make for the remaining 30%, some is probably carapils as he likes carapils, and crystal for a little color. What the other grains are can be debated.

This is great information, I think it really adds to the conversation.

I do not want to paint the OP into a corner, or come off as confrontational, just continue the conversation. I am just skeptical about what he may actually be tasting vs what he wants to taste (wants to believe is there). He went from saying a heavy corn/rice flavor to a lot of adjunct. I have previously disclosed my lack of knowledge regarding the adjunct however it just seems to me the OP wants to taste some "filler/lower quality" adjunct to explain his dislike for the beer. Maybe I am missing something in the taste too. I am just curious what the OP is actually tasting and how he is drawing his conclusions.

No rice and corn here when I've gone through my share of 15-packs. I was surprised at how hoppy it was for such a low ABV beer, actually. If you're looking for another session IPA I'd recommend Lagunitas DayTime Ale. It's got the Lagunitas hop flavors and actually has a bit of malt in there as well to balance it out. It's great.

Stone Go To IPA is just straight hops. If that's all you're looking for in a session IPA that would be the one I'd go for. Otherwise DayTime gets the vote for me (out of the ones I've tried).

you are right on target with its flavor and hoppiness I think all day is underrated. I too love pallete wrecker and agree with you on the piney resinous after taste . Bought centennial tonight instead of all day.Cheers!

This beer is very different when fresh and when poured into a glass.

It's not a beer I'd order in a bar, but I definitely will get for back deck drinking. Much like any session IPA.

I liked this beer, but also see where the few above are coming from in terms of the hop aspects and the light flavor. I prefer these types of flavorful, but light beers for summer. I am especially fond of Widmer citra blond. Just a good, still flavorful, but light summer beer. In summer, I like something that's craft, that I can take the first first sips of due to thirst, without having to steady myself from the strong flavor! Trust me, like the stronger beers...but not in summer for the most part. So my take is that founders was shooting for something, and hit the mark. Something with enough flavor to still be considered craft beer, but light enough to drink all day.

Very fruity tropical/citrus flavors pretty much take over everything else. It's one of the fruitier beers I've tried. Reminds me a lot of Moon Man.

Not my favorite founders beer. I wish they would scrap this one and bring back Cerise. I do not notice and corn/rice or off flavor at all, but I do not drink this anymore as there is always a better option on the shelf

Very underwhelming. Not worth the price. I love all their other beers, but this one was very disappointing. Even for a session beer...

This. And Lagunitas DayTime. fairly similar. Both have a grassy/dankness.
