    it's a good read...

people consume so much "articial" whatever, does it matter? WGAF?

    from the feds:
"a natural flavor is the essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate, or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis, which contains the flavoring constituents derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material, meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products, or fermentation products thereof, whose significant function in food is flavoring rather than nutritional." Artificial flavors are those that are made from components that do not meet this definition.

edit: discussion (though a bit dated) of natural versus artificial flavoring; summary, natural and artificial flavors often exact same chemical composition.

They do in FMB. That beer has artificial Hazelnut flavor, and it certainly tastes like it.

Doom was friggin amazing for the $13 bucks I paid...Bolt Cutter, I agree was too expensive...Backstage is not a best of the best release..Backstage series is meant for experimentation..

Regardless of the hate swirling here about the backstage beers, people will still buy Sweet Repute. And they'll probably buy more than one if they can.

i'll drink it the day i get my hands on it and, if it's good, i'll hopefully grip it at the one store that didn't get it until later in the week...

Sweet Repute will be using artificial maple flavoring, and faux wheat. It is probably best that everyone avoid buying it...
