I moved to Rochester about half a year ago, so I was in the Fox Valley portion of Wisconsin when this hit (never saw it there). Does this normally make it out here or in the Twin Cities close to its 'wide'release, which was today.

If so where have you seen it?

There's still some Backwoods Bastard around the northern suburbs from last year's release. It's shouldn't be too hard to find, so I don't think you need to worry.

I was about to post about this myself; should be this week or next in the Twin Cities, haven't seen it anywhere yet...

It didn't sell out too fast last year in Roch. Hopefully it will be easy to find again this year.

It's hit town, found 2 4-packs dated 10/12/12. Should be speading throughout the next week.

Any other spottings today in the metro? I'm really hoping to get my hands on a 4pk to enjoy the weekend.

Picked some up at Princeton's, didn't seem like they had much.

What the fuck is the world coming to? I've been buying a case of this every year for my wife's birthday, since she loves it so much.

I'm thinking that after this & the Harvest Ale fiasco, Founders needs to pull the fuck back. And I love Founders.

Yeah, I'm starting to think you're on to something. I wasn't planning/hoping to have to drive all across the metro just to get a couple of 4pks. It's a damn shame.

I couldn't have said it any better myself. With their expansion, I thought shortages of beer were no longer supposed to be an issue.

It was a 2-bottle limit in STL and a 4-pack per in St Charles County....Lukas liquor posted on their website at about noon and by the time i got there at 3:50 they were sold out. I could buy this stuff for atleast a month last year. Too bad, as it is one of my favorite beers ever.

Looks like most places will let you buy a 4-pack at least...I got two 4-packs with minimal effort.

Founders is possibly my favorite brewery but they are really pissing me off. They said a year ago that their expansion meant that there would not be shortage issues anymore other than the 2012 KBS and a couple Backstage beers because they had already started production on those. So what was the deal with Devil Dancer, Harvest Ale and Backwoods Bastard? I managed to get all of them, but it involved either rushing around or severe bottle limits.

I bet Bolt Cutter will be a bitch to get as well.
