Armsby Abbey and Rail Trail have it on tap (or at least did as of a day or two ago). It's a good dessert beer. Not one I'd start a night with or have with a meal.
There were several bottles at Fifth Ave. Liquors in Framingham. I believe it was $16.99 a bottle. I enjoyed it as a nighttime/dessert beer, even though it was very sweet. My wife hated it; she thought it was way too sweet.
Julio's still had a bottle or two this afternoon. I also liked it more as it warmed. I made the mistake of starting with it and put it to the side pretty quickly (got two other beers) before finishing it after my meal. It improved as I let it sit.
I think this one will be sitting in places for a while. Not in large quantity, but bottles here and there.
We tried this at the tail end of a tasting night, with some brownies. Good combo, but 1/7 of a bottle was a good amount. I'd imagine trying to knock down a whole one would be an adventure.
This was my problem. I bought it with the intention of splitting with my wife, but since she hated it I ended up drinking it alone. By the end it was tough...
