    I'll be there for the first time this year. How early do people typically start lining up in the morning? Is it typically packed all day or is there a lull after the initial rush?

    I have typically gotten there around 8:30am and there are usually 20 people in line. It is busy all day. The last couple years they are at capacity and let people in as people leave.

    Dark Horse would be fun but this is too local for me and is my favorite Founders event all year. Between my friend and I we will probably bring:
    Parabola (2016)
    BA French Toast (Wicked Weed)
    Double Barrel Baptist
    Last Buffalo

    Maybe a couple others.

    Founders seems to tolerate it as long as you are on their property.

    Is this likely a one in one out situation? I will be in town and like to visits Founders but not sure I want to wait in line. I would probably go late afternoon.

    A big variable is weather. If it is partly sunny w/o rain it'll be very busy and more than likely one in-one out. Hoping for good weather so we can sit outside otherwise it'll be a nightmare.

    I'll be at the Dark Horse Spring Smoke Off. I signed up for the amateur division. It'll be my first time there. I am looking forward to it.

    Check last year's thread. But I think they said 2pm and 7pm.

    I know they tapped around 2 last year. I was in line at the bar and they refused to give me a pour unless I was at my table where my server could give it to me.

    Years past was different times but usually twice.

    I was kind of hoping that I might be able to go to this. Unfortunately, the sickness that I had (and is now mostly gone) my wife now has. Doh!

    Sounds perfect, you should probably go and give the wife a quiet house to recuperate. When you are looking at it that way, you are doing her a favor by drinking beer all day!
