    From Tasty Beverage in Raleigh:

We have obtained some bottles of Founders Brewing Co. (Official)Bolt Cutter, their 15th Anniversary 15% Barleywine that is partially aged in bourbon barrels, partially in maple bourbon barrels, and partially not aged at all. It won't be around for long.

At 5:30pm, we will be tapping a keg of Founder's Backwoods Bastard for you to enjoy as well. Happy Day!

Don't go by TW in Winston they did not have any as of 15 minutes ago. But I was able to stumble onto 2 bottles of Lindley Park.

Did not try City Bev. Damn work meeting getting in the way

Please do. I'd love to snag a bottle of this. I'm gone the next few days, so I think I'll be missing this one, but one can hope!

Yikes. For a bottle that will need at least a year of age. All ya'lls.

Bestway was cheaper than City. I called TW yesterday and they weren't believing they will get any, that's both places in GSO.

I was able to get a bottle in Charlotte. It was $15-16 i think, definitely no more than that. Would love to find another one so i could open one now and put the other away for awhile. This is one I'll want to enjoy with company so I'll probably put it away until an occasion arises.

Damnit I'm late in this game. Show up at one store and I'm a day early. Show up at another and I'm a day late. I'm curious to see what you all think of this brew. Been hearing mixed reviews.

This is the kind of release my wallet demands I skip, where there are very reviews, the reviews that exist are mixed, and many seem to think it needs cellar time. Those things are all tough to deal with for $15+. I'd rather buy beers with established reputations and just be okay with missing something like Bolt Cutter, as much as I'm curious to try it.

I'll sit on it, but I like hot Bourbon brews, the price doesn't scare me off. EH is very Bourbon hot and I love it, IMO better fresh. We'll see on BC, Founders normally hits HR's, can't imagine this one would be a miss.

Anyone else open theirs yet? It's a thumper but very well done. Glad I went ahead and opened it as the hops are bright and upfront..
