Founders Bottle Date Stamping

    I'm organizing the cellar, and inventorying what I have... while entering items into beercellar.me I had trouble with some Founders Imperial Stout (FIS) and I started searching BA for FIS posts for info on bottle stamps. It seems that Founder's has used "BEST BY' a few times, instead of the actual bottling date.

    Does anyone know what time span they used for this "best by" stamp? I have one four-pack that says "BEST BY 12-11-2014" and another four-pack that says "BOTTLED ON 12-18-13." I am trying to be consistent with labeling the "on-line cellar" with bottling dates... these have to be close, no?

    Any help?

    I think your best bet might be to contact them directly. I'd try during the week otherwise your gonna get the taproom. Good luck!
