Founders Breakfast Stout 2015

The milk chocolate makes it so good and adds to the creaminess ..... That's silly.

 

I don't really think concern for the environment or animal suffering is silly, and there are plenty of ways to add creaminess to a beer without using animal products. They are successful with this recipe, so they probably won't change, but putting "creaminess" over the concerns I listed is silly. Perspective.

Yeah, I think I'll still enjoy my milk chocolate in beer. I don't disagree with the animal suffering though, or the environment. The earths overpopulation has taken a huge toll on our planet and resources if it wasn't for GMO's and animal suffering there wouldn't be enough food (think of the health hazard of having free range chicken everywhere covering everything); we might as well enjoy it and all be gluttonous while we can.

 

Just had it in a growler and it was excellent as always. If I had a bottle to compare it to from last year I would, but the flavors would of changed with age.

 

I've had it several times over the past month or two. I think it's great as always.

When I noticed the video posted on the Founders website entitled "Baby Come Back" I was hoping they'd reuse the old Simpsons gag with the Player song but alas it was just a compilation of voicemails from FBS drinkers.
