I've heard from reliable sources that FBS will extend longer and go a full six months through March for distribution. This will also remove Cerise from their lineup completely due to poor sales and possibly move All Day to a seasonal release due to hop shortages to brew it.

Again, this is only what I heard and not official.

Last time I was in a Total Wine in Georgia, they had TONS of it sitting around. That wasn't more than 2 weeks ago or so. Surprised to see so much of it still around.

Founders isn't going to release anymore CBS until next year if that. Boltcutter will be next.

Yeah I just moved down here and saw some on the shelf at Total Wine, was completely shocked. Picked some up and love it as much as usual, granted may be a bit better fresh but always happy to drink it.

Most TW's I've been have stacks and stacks of it. I should really ask them if I can get a case deal the next time I'm in. They are great for making chocolate chip stout homemade ice cream too!

I hope so! I had the Cerise and did not like it at all. I'd love to see more All Day IPA around.

I've been told by some local beer store managers that they will be getting CBS in late September. I hope they are right and you are wrong haha

I doubt that. Bolt Cutter will hit before CBS (if CBS even hits again).

Bolt Cutter will hit before CBS for sure, but i still think that CBS will hit this stout season.

Am I the only one here that likes Cerise? A red/black combo with FIS is mighty awesome.

I hope your right too, but I trust founders employees over store managers.

Most store employees don't know the difference between FBS, KBS and CBS and usually think they're all the same beer. The average BA member is generally far more informed about beer than most people who work at liquor stores.

My ability to get limited beer in the area begs to differ with you. So would my ability to get a table at Brick Store Pub on ANY day between 6 and 9pm. There are a lot of Atlantans in the craft beer scene, particularly new to it in the past year or so.

I would usually agree with you but it was the beer manager at Julio's i was talking with. He always seems knowledgeable of the current market and such.

Tom does indeed know his shit but I still don't think he's right on this one and I can't see two back stage releases within a month of each other as well.

It's still around from the last release in Ohio as well. FBS seems to be losing some of its allure. No doubt it's one of my favorite beers, but seems like they are going overboard with production. I can remember when I started drinking craft beer about 3 years ago, the stuff would fly off the shelves. I'd be hard pressed to even find a 4 pack. Now you can find it almost year round.

Not around here in Mass, it was practically all gone the minute it came in.

Well looks like they need to take some of our Ohio allocation and share the love. Just kidding, fellow Buckeyes. Just kidding.
