Also if anybody wants a Port Brewing Company beer they have one listed under the Ireland section.

Damn that XDP logistics has bigged itself up on it's website. Their delivery vehicles are unmarked white vans. They don't even have those electronic signing gadget thingys. I miss beers of europe :stuck_out_tongue:

Am awaiting my first dealings with said firm either today (if they leave it with a neighbour) or Monday when I'm at home

Can't remember what I ordered now but there was a Port brewing £10 jobby in there from memory!

Check your email - they should have sent you something with a tracking code etc on it.

I've just received my order - had it sent to where I work. I also received a telling-off from our stores team for abusing the system, so it looks like this'll be the last time I have stuff sent here :slight_frown:. Oh well, at least my Founders BCS has arrived!

It wouldn't be as bad if the box didn't say "beermerchants.com" in massive letters I think :stuck_out_tongue: thats why the reception in my student residence refused to accept it, and I had to meet the driver on the street. Fairplay though he rang me up and said I could come and get it from him while he waited.

I was very impressed by the Windsor and Eton beer I had for lunch! Knight of the Garter!

Never had the bottled version but had fresh on cask a number of times - packed full of flavour for sub 4%!

Yeah - I have a feeling this might be what tipped off the people at work!

Came home earlier and found that a delivery from Brewdog had also arrived in my greenhouse. Two great beer deliveries in one day! I now have a fantastic stash of brews from Founders, Souther Tier, Hitachino Nest and many others.....mmmmm deliciousness!

They could be a little more discreet in their 'advertising' instead of having BEERMERCHANTS plastered on the sides of their boxes. I think that's what gave the game away when my neighbor took delivery of my order last summer. He started parroting on thinking it was beer in the box, to which I thought "Aye, and your not going to sample a drop of it."

My Meantime London Stout from this site was actually very lovely!

I just had a Duck-Rabbit Schwarzbier earlier, which was excellent. The one thing I did find disturbing was that the best-before date on the bottle seemed to be from 2010! Makes me wonder how long Beermerchants hang on to some of their brews......

Yeah! I got that one too and thought it must have been done wrong. I'm guessing the Founders Porter was old too as it was quite skunky and had no BBD on it at all

Yeah - I noticed the Founders beers didn't have any dating on them. But quite a few US brewers don't bother, as attested by the large numbers of threads on BA about this topic! Too bad it isn't a legal requirement over there.

Also, the Duck-Rabbit bottle didn't list the ABV - another bit of info that is obligatory over here!

Haha I never noticed that on the duck rabbit!
