Multiple job postings on Founders website seem to confirm that distribution is imminent.

And the next we will hear is that InBev has purchased Founders...Hope that's not the case.

They should create some positions in Maryland.

First Bell's and now Founder's, I'm loving CA more, Founder Breakfast Stout is great and thought of having it available in CA is unbelievable. I hope distribution hits the state soon.

No need. They already have their minority global partner - Mahou San Miguel.

I'm sure CA will be happy to get their stouts, scotch ales, and Porter, but I think Founders would do well by not sending anything hoppy there. In my opinion none but Red's Rye stand out here, and in California they look like bad homebrew. Comparing Alpine, Cellarmaker, or Beachwood, Hell even Stone, Societe, and Ballast Point, to Centennial and Pale Ale has got to be the opening of a joke: "Centennial walks into a bottle shop in California..."

I see your point, but it really comes down to price and availability. Those breweries you mentioned with exception of Stone and Ballast Point are difficult to obtain if you're not nearby the breweries. I can easily see myself picking up some Harvest Ale or Double Trouble over Stone, BP, or even FW if the price is right.

Jesus, I forgot about FW. Too bad they're never fresh even in CA... Anyway, I'd choose Ruination, Stone IPA, Union Jack, Double Jack, Sculpin, Big Eye, Dorado, Fathom, etc. over any Founders hop-forward offering.

I don't even buy Founders here, and we have almost no great IPAs in Wisconsin (in comparison to CA, I mean). FFF, Two-Hearted, Black Husky, Toppling Goliath, and Fantasy Factory all easily outclass them.

Can't wait to see Porter, FBS, and Red's Rye here but the hoppy offerings just aren't going to sell. No complaints though.

I'm happy for this but I wonder, when will the day come when I can purchase beer online, directly from the brewery? That will be the day I finally try Heady, BCBS, Triple Sunshine, etc......

I can order "magic truffles" online for God sakes but not beer direct from the brewery.

you have to understand that beer bottles weigh alot because shipping companies assume they are full of lead for some reason$$$. Truffles on the other hand would be a featherweight parcel that would fit nicely into my mind with minimal fare

    Uh yeah they are?

Bell's is already rotting on shelves in SD. Nice that Founders can provide them some company.

I, for one, welcome them. I enjoy the 12 oz format and won't turn away reasonably priced sixers and 4-packs of good beer.

I would buy Centennial and All Day once in a while just because they're good enough IPAs that should be easy to get once distribution hits. Their Breakfast Stout, Imperial Stout, and KBS is what I would proudly welcome.
