Founders CBS 2017 - Boston

Cambridge WIne and Spirits, as of 1pm today. 3 limit. like $28.

 

The Founders rep at Pemberton didn't see pleased with this. It sounded like they would be talking to Downtown about this blatant price gouging.

Also got word that Cambridge Common, Christopher's, Kinsale, Stoddard's and maybe Gingerman should be getting it not tap.

A lot of the usual haunts that have received KBS in the past, specifically Christopher's and Kinsale.

 

Kinsale had CBS on two (?) years ago, for a couple days at that. Nice spot to duck into if you're near govt center

 

Has anyone seen it on tap at any of these places? I was thinking of popping into Christopher's today.

 

Also doesn't hurt that Salty Pig's food is goddamned amazing.

 

Agreed, such a great spot.

 

Salty Pig tweeted just now that CBS has kicked.

Nope. They said all the food they have is gone too.

 

Olde Magoun's Saloon is tapping CBS today at 5pm

 

But, but, but, those delicious salty pig parts!

 

Olde Bedford Package Store on Great Rd. had at least one bottle left tonight at $27.99. It's up at the counter. No idea if they have more.

 

Still on tap at Olde Magoun’s as of 4pm Tue. 13oz pour for $9.75

 

I bet it lasts the week. I think CBS lasted for days at Lu Lu's, and that's specifically a beer bar, where Magoun's isn't necessarily a hot spot for beer geeks.

Which is no slight on Magoun's, still might be my favorite bar in Somerville.

CBS should be popping up a bunch of other places on tap this week as well.

 

As of last night the Olde Bedford Package Store still had at least one up by the register for $27.99. Not the cheapest, but not awful, considering that store's always a bit overpriced.

 

Thanks for the heads up - was able to grab it here last night. Magouns has their steady rotation of middle of the road stuff, but usually also have just as many interesting taps going.

Also, glad I had CBS on tap, I would not consider it worthy of buying an entire bottle.
