I’d probably tell the date to meet me inside a bar or something instead of standing on a corner like a lady of the night.

 

Gus and Shanna are incredible people, can't say that enough. If there was an easier way to get there I would shop at Fischman's every weekend. But it does pay to do PR for Six Corners Association, of which Fischman's is a member.

 

It will always be The Crotch to me (damen/north/milwaukee).

I’d thought the “change clothes and come back for a 2nd round” thing was so 2015 until....today. Saw two guys in my local Binny’s go through line once without their coats and with hats, then come back through with coats on and no hats. Come on people! At least the other 2 guys that did it just put the bottles back in the car and didn’t bother to “disguise” themselves.

 

Anyone have a report from Gold Coast Whole Foods or Potash Market?

 

Anything around Vernon Hills? Would love to grab a bottle on my lunch break. The Mundelein and Libertyville Jewels are tapped out.

31.49 at Jonna’s in Howell. I said no thanks and walked away. I have two bottles plus two next weekend at Founders. Happy hunting everyone.

 

Just picked a bottle up at Binnys in Evergreen Park. Have to ask for it. They have them behind the customer service desk.

FYI they stopped pouring CBS at noon, but I am sure it will pour again several times today and through the weekend

 

was able to score some.. seems we did get quite a bit here...just the store I normally frequent sold out in 10 minutes. not sure what limit they had, but it was clearly high

 

Springfield was actually surprisingly good. Hy-Vee got quite a bit and it was 21.99. Binny's had enough at one per person, and Friar Tuck's as well. I got mine at Hy-Vee, so not sure on the prices of others.

 

Solid beer. I got a lot of chocolate up front with a lingering sweetness on the end that just smoothed everything out. More maple in the nose than in flavor. Is it as good as the 4.73 it’s rated on Untappd? Definitely not but still good.

 

This describes almost every beer, ever, for what it's worth.

Your description of the beer sounds like what I remember from a couple years back. The chocolate was what sold me on the beer.
