    I'm taking it easy tonight I had Portillos for Dinner, Sausage and Italian beef Combo washing it down with More Loose Candies and then King Sue after that, because I'm going to be full of Dosvidanya and all the Variants tomorrow.

    My man, that’s all I needed to hear! I’m quite jealous of that. I’ll be having Portillo soon, next weekend, when I’m back in Chicago for thanksgiving. Are you trying to get your hands on some of those Goose Island BCS releases?

    Forbidden Root Ghost Tropic. Shortly it'll be my first go at a Black Note '17. Little warm up for tomorrow.

    See you tomorrow at Dos Day @Jinx989 . Good call on the combo! I go dipped with hot and sweet peppers too. And usually a nap afterward.

    I'm interested in seeing how many folks drop a teaspoon of maple syrup into their KBS and do a blind taste next to CBS.

    Start with 1/2 teaspoon per 4oz KBS. That works great for me. You can add a little on either side to suit your taste buds as needed.

    I bought some bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. I also tried regular maple syrup. Doesn't make a difference imo.

    that just seems like too much maple syrup to me, but my first CBS will be in 2 weeks so what the hell do I know

    I've done this a few times. You have to be very careful with your measurement. Too much and you have a sweet mess. Too little and you don't hardly notice you put any maple syrup in. But when you dial it in correctly, it makes for a great beer. It's not the same as CBS but a great substitute.

    Now if only I could remember that maple syrup to beer ratio...

    There seems to be a number of pepole with tickets to both CBS weekends. That said, if Founders or Ticketfly were going to cancel tickets, I think they would have done so by now. It’s not as though they are going to wait til December 1 to notice “oddities”.

    I’m really not sure if either party minds if people have tickets to both weekends. If they did mind, wouldn’t they have done something to prevent it?
