Founders CBS in the South?

    I put the question mark at the end of the topic, so hopefully no one gets their hopes up too high when clicking on this. I was able to try this beer at Holy Grale in Louisville last week and it was quite possibly the best beer I've ever had. I wanted to see if anyone knew of any other tappings around the south. Specifically for me, I am interested in Alabama, Middle Tennessee and Kentucky but feel free to share any other locations for the betterment of all the southern BAs here.

    Might try Steinbeck's in Decatur, GA. One of my Untappd friends checked in to it there and added a pick of the tap handle. I have also seen people on here trading growlers of it...seems draft is the only way it is available this year.

    Steinbecks ran out after 2 hours :-)

    There are a few more kegs in GA, but the bars here haven't yet announced when they are each tapping it. I heard someone say the brick store is saving theirs until May, but who knows if that is true.

    There are a few kegs in Lexington KY that have yet to be tapped, and I think Ei8ht Ball up in N. Ky is tapping one next week.

    Anyone hear of anything in Mid Tenn/Nashville?? Ive been watching check ins on untappd and here to see if anything has popped up, but nothing yet .

    3 kegs have made it to the Little Rock area...........not sure when CBS will be tapped but 1 keg is slated to go to the Flying Saucer, and another is slated to go to Mellow Mushroom.

    It was tapped in Baton Rouge this morning at Chimes East. The keg was done in a little over two hours. Great beer, lived up to my expectations.

    There are a couple more kegs in Baton Rouge to be tapped. I know there is at least one in New Orleans lying in the wait.

    Ive heard from a few peeps there are a few kegs in town. They havent gone out yet . Hopefully this week one will get tapped !

    Sadly, to my knowledge, the only CBS that has ever been sold in Alabama was at the release party at J Clyde when Founders first released in Alabama several years ago.

    Tapped at both Chimes locations in Baton Rouge and suppose to be tapped again tomorrow night at a new bar in Baton Rouge along with all the other Founders stouts.

    Had it during the Flying Saucer Cordova 9th birthday bash here in Memphis over the weekend. Was sugary sweet but good.

    I had it at Superior Bath House in Hot Springs tonight. Don't know how much they got, but it was good!
