Founders CBS still good?

    I've never had the beer, but I doubt it. The flavors that were most likely to fall off (maple notes) are pretty delicate and would fall off in that time whether it's stored properly or not.

    Think of it as an IPA, fruited beer, or coffee beer. There's a good chance it's still tasty, just not what it was intended to be.

    CBS was good through out 2011 and 2012. Most and possibly even all bottles past that time which I have opened took on an obvious menthol quality just like CBH did in much shorter time frame. Sad that several drain pours of CBS bottles happened. It must be something about those bliss bourbon maple syrup barrels because that is that main tie that both beers have in common.

    Actually had one two nights ago at a friend's house. While still tasty, it's nothing of what it used to be. Not worth scoring unless it's easy to get.
