Hoping there’s a Triad location!

 

Heard that we should see some in the Upstate this week

 

The Answer Brewpub (Richmond, Va) - Sat., Dec. 2nd
CBS taps at 4:20pm

 

Not a tapping but according to some posts in a NOVA Beer Group page Wegmans and Total Wine up there put out bottles today for sale. 4pp limit at around $25/bottle

 

In Atlanta......Argosy at 12:01am on Friday. Midnight tapping. Hoorah!

 

Fake news? or real news?

 

It appeared to be true at the Fredericksburg stores as a couple local people posted pics of their bottles and it was in fact this year's label. One of the last comments I saw was that the manager of the Wegmans location pulled the bottles back after someone made them aware they should not be out until Friday. But a few lucky people appear to have made out with some and at least locals who missed out know where to go first thing Fri morning.

Beer:30 San Marco in Jacksonville

 

I talked to a Tryon rep the other day about this. IIRC, the Total Wine on Battleground Ave in GSO is getting 7 cases. Expect some of the usual suspects (that sell lots of Founders) to get a case and a few will get a keg, too. A couple of the Lowes Foods Beer Dens around are "supposed to" be allocated a keg each, but I can't remember which ones. Tryon will make Triad deliveries on Monday or Tuesday of next week (4th or 5th).

 

Any bottles in South Florida?

 

Two more Atlanta area tappings:

Smyrna Beer Market is tapping a keg at 5 pm on Friday, Dec. 1.
Both Hop City locations (Westside and KSM) are tapping a keg at 4 pm and selling bottles (1 per) at 5 pm on Friday, Dec. 1.

Of course I have to be goin’ on a trip to Disney when this is droppin’ in Raleigh. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find some in Florida, or maybe get really lucky and find a local spot that won’t tap it or release bottles until after I get back on the 10th. A man can dream!

- 12/1: CBS Midnight Tapping at GB's Bottle Shop and Tasting Bar

Per their fb event they have 60 bottles at 1pp/limit. Doors will open today at 3pm and will tap CBS at 12:01am with lines forming for bottles no earlier than 9pm.

 

Anyone have any clues for the Hampton Roads, VA area?

 

Public House in Norfolk is tapping tomorrow at 6pm

 

@Kyte Bottlemixx is doing a release on both the 7th and 13th, though it is through a raffle. Based on past experiences, Florida does seem to get much better allocations on these types of things than NC. So you might have better luck down there, but if not this is an option.
