Founders CBS tappings.....

At the midnight tapping at GB in Orlando. Checked a whale off the list and have a bottle for the house, but gotta say times must have changed since 2011 because this isn't even a top 20 beer I've had this year. Not trying to hate. It's a good beer, but this is going to disappoint a lot of people.

 

i had this beer around 3 times in 2011/2012, two bottles and 1 draft. it was great. my assumption is production is a lot higher, perhaps the quality of their barrel program has gone down. as trump would say, sad.

Anyone know if any Wegmans in VA are getting bottles?

 

Pretty sure I saw someone post in a local group a day or so ago that the Fredericksburg location did.

 

Aroma liquors in Lecanto/Beverly Hills Fl has bottles @ $28.99.

 

Total Wine posted on instagram that bottles aren't getting there until Monday in Charlotte. Haven't seen anyone else post about it yet.

 

I’ve heard Monday, 12/4 at the couple places I asked. I don’t get why this area is the last to get things in the state. I was told it’s at the distributors, they just won’t, uh, distribute it

 

Wegmans did and I presume it is gone...Fairfax Wegmans sold out at 7 am (I think it opens at 7 am)

Tried it on tap at Barracuda Bar and Grill in Miami...excellent beer...now to find the bottles...friend of mine found them in Total Wine in the Alpharetta, GA area (1 pp)

 

I grabbed a bottle at the Total Wine in North Miami this morning, only one per customer though and they had just three cases behind the counter.

 

Frugal MacDoogal Beverage Warehouse posted on their Facebook that they had them. It looks like they had 3 cases. Not sure if they have any left.

 

So this hasn't hit GSO yet?

 

I dropped by Total Wine in Va. Beach today and the manager said Monday . She said that that Hoffman Beverage was holding it til then and no place but Public House has it til Monday .
They still had some BCBS at TW if anyone was looking .

Got there around 6 and they were out.
