Founders Cellar Raid 2017

    A buddy and I are traveling in from Cincinnati and Indianapolis Friday evening leaving Saturday day. Anyone else heading up that would like to do a small bottle share? Willing to bring anything on my gots and for trade list.

    Might drive up from Chicago and hit that and the Perrin event. Had CBS and some other good one offs at cellar raid last year.

    Ice Jam Fest/Fundraiser for child hunger. They'll be tapping an oatmeal stout brewed in collab with cigar city and oskar blues, as well as a batch of cigar city jai alai brewed at Perrin.

    Event page says 2-8pm, not sure if there are specific tap times for each beer though.

    My Wife and I are making the trip from Chicago. We're leaving first thing Friday morning and are planning on spending the day at Founder's before heading back on Saturday. We'd be interested in having a pop at the brewery with anyone.

    Anyone got a hotel where we can pop a few in the lobby
    I got a small air bnb won't hold many

    I think he meant "pop" as in having a beverage at the brewery and not popping open a bottle.

    Selling 4/packs of 2014, 2015 and 2016 KBS too. Probably won't last long. Only can get '14 in a vintage mixed case. $144/case. Bolt Cutter limit 1.

    Do you know if they're selling any other vintage beer this weekend?

    Today's tap list looks amazing. If I could take one to drink right now at work, based upon the gloomy weather in Chicago I'd go with the Barrel-Aged Nitro Frangelic Stout

    It would be nice if Founders supported the working folk with these surprise bottle releases. I can never get there in time due to work. Oh well, more money in my pocket I guess.

    There is still KBS by the vintage cases to go and CBS has been on tap since noon. Good crowd but it hasn't slowed down and plenty available. Great cellar raid day 1!

    Hey man, given you are at this event day 1, was curious if you knew if a portion of CBS is going to be tapped each day through Saturday? I plan on going Saturday, the last day of the raid. Thanks for any info.
