Enjoy man! Just was curious what time you arrived today to ensure you got seating/table? Right at open? Just trying to figure out when I should arrive for Saturday, i.e. how early before opening at 11am. Thanks.....

 

From that pic it doesn't look that busy at all. Saturday, last year, it was pretty much standing room only all throughout the pub. I mean there is an empty chair in the photo

Also, it is looking like 12:00ish and 7:00ish each day maybe?

 

Got here today around 11:30 and plenty of seats left. Not sure if that will be the case on a Sat.

 

Every table has people, but not over crowded. Some are sitting on the patio, but not really anyone standing except for a few at the bar.

 

At about 7 pm Wednesday, the place was packed, with a line out the door. CBS was made available at 7 pm; it lasted longer than usual, perhaps a few hours. Someone told me that they also had it available at 5 pm. The crowd thinned out by about 9:30 pm.

 

Call me old, but I just couldn't do 10 ounces of the six different beers that I wanted, and still go back to work in the studio today. Eisbock will finish off my lunch today.

 

Yeah, my thought as well. I plan on getting to founders around 10 a.m Saturday, hour before opening. That should be good enough to ensure seating for me and a buddy. Unless any of you guys recommend getting there earlier then an hour before opening? Fingers crossed.

I believe the CBS tappings were like 12, 3, 7 something like that. At least two a day, but i wanna say 3.

The Nitro BA Frangelic is amazing, so is the BA Mosiac.

 

Any bottles today?

If any BA wants to meet up a buddy and I planning to be there around noon tomorrow, crashing locally, and going to Perrin on Saturday. Can bring some east side locals over to share as well (Kuhnhenn, Ascension, Witch's Hat, etc).

 

Hey BA folks CBS is on tap again at Founders Cellar Raid for the 3rd day in a row. It's 2014 version and they tapped them at noon. The bartender told me they have been doing a second tapping around 7 pm for the working folk! The noon tap usually runs out around 3ish, but it's the busiest day so far yet. Hurry and get some.

 

I just left. Had plenty of CBS still and I got two pours at the same time with no issue(one to warm). Also no more KBS available from the store, but plenty on tap. If you go and arrive go to the left to get beers instead of the line by the entrance. They have 3 times the staff there to make the line go way faster

 

The brewer (Jeremy Kosmicki) confirmed on Facebook that this is a new batch of CBS. Just had one today, it's tapped at 12 and 7 each day on the dot. I might actually prefer BA Nitro Frangelic Stout, that stuff is amazing this year!!!

For BA folks who have been at this event the past few days, founders opens at 11 am, CBS taps at noon, so what time would you recommend arriving tomorrow to ensure seating/table? I was thinking 10am...hour prior to opening. Thoughts??
