This might sound like an odd request, but I am taking the greyhound bus from Southfiled to Grand Rapids for the Founders Cellar Raid January 24th. I've done this before. bus out to Founders, drink all day and sober up and hydrate on the bus ride back I am doing this solo, so if any BA cares to join me for a safe sober ride to Founders and back buy a ticket and let me know. If booked today round-trip tickets are $20.60 today only using the greyhound new years sale code of new35 The bus leaves at 8:25 am from 11 mile and Lasher and arrives directly across the street form Founders at 11:30. There are multiple return trips but I booked the 4:20pm PS, I am not a greyhound bus employee or travel agent or any other way involved in the travel industry. I am just a Detroit BA trying to get back from cellar raid soberly and cheaply
Good idea! Probably cost more than that in gas anyway. Not sure what will be on tap, but my opinion from the last couple years is that the cellar has been raided clean and Founders has done a good job this year making their great beers readily available.
Just to clarify my statement above, I was more referring to bottles that are released each day. Saturday the 27th?
Right Cellar Raid runs for multiple days, anyone in the Detroit Metro should think about it, not just for Cellar Raid, but any time they want a safe sober and fairly cheap ride to Founders from Detroit and back, There is a downtown Detroit stop and a Southfield stop and like I said, the Grand Rapids Greyhound Station is directly across the street from Founders. I did it two years ago for Cellar Raid with a buddy, and it was a great way to get there and back
Wouldn't it be nice if Founder's expanded Cellar Raid to the Detroit taproom? Like just a mini cellar raid so guys like you can and me can stay in town and enjoy the same beers?
