Get me a 4 pack of BCBS, and I can get a 4 pack of Devil Dancer for ya.

If you are in Chicago you should be able to get this. I found it the last couple years pretty easy.

I didn't get the garlic/onion.. honestly, I love when I get that flavor in DIPAs. What I smelled was cheap perfume, and what I tasted was a huge hop assault. I'd say try it once, especially since I suck at the teet of Founders... but that's it. I dunno, man, it just didn't deliver like I thought it would.

Finally grabbed a single this year. Still tastes like chit. Sorry, Founders.

I enjoyed it way more than Hoptimum. Way more.

Got my 4 pack for $18.99. Can't wait to try it for the first time. Really hoping it doesn't taste like the wet onion fart that it has been described as.

Was at Founders earlier in the week and it was on tap (Class 3, meaning $6 for 8oz). I was thinking about trying it but wanted to try some other things instead and never quite got to it. It also didn't help that the person next to me tried a sample of it and visibly grimaced/winced, saying that it was too much for him.

I'm surprised this is so tough to find for some people...it's sitting around in MA. Maybe because they fucked us with KBS?

I think its the price point. I'm not understanding why this is so expensive. I tried it last year. I'll pass.

"Scored" a 4-pack in Indiana for $23.99 (yes, $23.99)! In my opinion, it's better than most people say (I still don't get the onion/garlic references). It's a boozey (12% ABV) hop-bomb, but it's not Double Trouble. If you want a killer DIPA/TIPA from Founders, go with Double Trouble. Better tasting, and much less expensive.

The issue I have with the beer is that I buy beer that has been brewed, transfered to bourbon barrels, was left in bourbon barrels for over a year, and I'm paying less for that beer than I am for Devil's Dancer. If the Devil Dancer was substantially better, I don't think I'd have this big of a gripe with it, but for me, it's just a hot and boozy mess that doesn't compliment the hop character.

I enjoyed this BUT not as much as like a double crooked tree, which is cheaper.. Mango Magnifico better blow us away.

Am I the only one who thinks this tastes completely different on tap than out of a bottle? Tap being way better.

Had my first Double Crooked Tree about three mos ago--huge beer and I really enjoyed it. Less of a palate wrecker to me than DD and a lot easier to drink. I have found my dance with the devil to be much better after a year but this years was a little more approachable fresh. Saving 2. Can't find it on tap in NC.

I dunno what part of NC you live in, but Cape Fear in Wilmington had it recently.
