Founders Devil Dancer (2013)

You are a fabulously wealthy master criminal, Diabolik - surely you could find SOME way to beat the bottle limit...

 

Got a couple 4 packs of this stuff. Amazing! Had it on tap twice...blew my mind. Far better than the bottled Devil Dancer. Definitely recommend trying it on tap if you see it.

 

I've had it on draft in RI. You've got to really like IPAs to enjoy as it is intense on both the IBU and the ABV. I enjoyed it, but I don't think more than one or two works as I'd need a new tongue.

 

Saw it today at VG's for $19.50 a 4 pack

 

Is this anywhere around Milwaukee area?

 

I was able to pick up 3 yesterday and went back and got 2 more today. It didn't seem to be flying out of my local TW. I'm happy with 5 as I have load of IPA's that I need to drink plus some Heady incoming.

 

I have some DD for trade if anyone is interested.

 

I managed to get a couple of bottles of this in the Boston area, and overall I enjoyed it. But unfortunately, the large price tag for a four pack (or per bottle) took away some of this enjoyment. I was glad to have tried it, but there are several other hoppy ales that are less money and are also as enjoyable, if not more so, that are readily available. I find Sixpoint's Resin to be as enjoyable, and is half the price. Also if you can get it, Heady Topper is far better in my opinion, and is also a lot more affordable than DD. Lastly, bottles of Wormtown's Be Hoppy or Hopulence are also excellent and are readily available. I'm thinking any popularity with regards to Devil Dancer is that it is hard to get, raising it's cache a bit.

 

You are right, but I beat it by trading some Heady. I'm not sure who came out ahead.

Grabbed a single today even though I dont remember this being anything too spectacular.

 

Well there are better parts of two cases left at the Alexandria location and this is their second go round this year with it.

 

Different beer and different style but I would drink RuinTen over DD any day of the week.

Drinking this fresh from tap is incredible. You have to be a fan of huge, overwhelming beers. And alcohol esters.

Picked up 2 bottles yesterday--2 bottle max. at my local shop at 5.99 per.
