Picked up a bottled of Founders Doom (Bourbon barrel aged Imperial IPA). I have never had this style before; is it better to drink it right away or can you age it like other bourbon barrel beers? Does it have a strong hop presence since its an IPA? Because it don't want the beer to be less-good if it ages... Or is this style of beer very similar to a barley wine? Thanks.

Yes, hold onto that IPA like it was a high ABV DFH 120, then after a few years trade it for a Black Thesday or Blabear.

Or, drink it now. But seriously, hold on to that shit and trade up, put a coat of paint on it and charge $20k extra like the price ceiling will never end.
