Founders Doom in DC?

    Rodmans tweeted earlier that they were getting in some rare Founders tomorrow so I assume that will be Doom.

    Rustico in Ballston has it in bottles. $36. Very pricey, but I assume it won't sellout at that price if it becomes hard to find.

    I'm curious to see the retail prices of this one. I was thinking it would be in the $15 range, but if Rustico has it for $36, that leads me to think that the retail might be more like $18-$20.

    Total Wine Mclean has it for $13.99 for those who don't enjoy being *****, or for those who despise Rodman's as much as I do.

    WF Fair Lakes tomorrow at noon, 1 bottle limit. If it's anyhting like the KBS release you might want to get there early as apparently people were lined up an hour early for that. Enjoy By also going on sale tomorrow at noon, no limit.

    Do you think the reason there's a line out the door is because people are dumb enough to post the information on internet message boards (beyond the original source of the information) instead of keeping it to themselves?

    Ha, you all should do what I do. I keep information to myself until I have the beer in my possession, then I feel totally fine about blasting beer release info all over the Internet.

    No, I think it's because the 'beer guy' at whole foods posts release dates/times on Facebook. Pretty sure it would sell out by 12:02 if I posted something on here or not.

    Seriously though... What doesn't get posted on here will get sucked up by employees or people not as involved in the beer community. I have gotten a few releases because peoples prompt postings on here, pay it forward.
