You can buy bottles to-go too. It's somewhere 25-30% off the price to get it to go... I should know I work there =x Doom was $25 in-bar.

 

Taking beers to go is 30% off.

I heard TW will get a case at each store. No official date yet

 

Nice. I'm going to San Fran next weekend for a week. I plan on going to Russian River and picking up bottles to ship back, which I'll bring to the tasting.

 

I've got some good news for you, sir. I've got a bottle reserved for me at Chevy Chase wine. I don't want it. Send me a PM with your name and I'll call them tomorrow and tell them you're picking it up for me and you can keep it. Glad I was able to "gift it" to another BA. I was going to tell them just to give to the next person on the list.

 

Ah, I was hoping to do this sooner rather than later, but if this isn't the case I think we'd be aiming for 5/25 (memorial day weekend) or 6/8.

I posted the bottle share in it's own thread. I had Event Horizon on cask at CK during CBC week... holy god that was good. I'm heading down to NC in a couple months and plan to stock up on Olde Hickory stuff. Their IPA at CK was real good too

 

Do you really mean "ship back?" You can check them in your luggage, you know.

 

The right way to go. My father and I took back 12 bottles each in our luggage from our trip to Belgium with Bon Beer and the Beer Advocate guys back in Oct' 11. Only 1 bottle broke.

My gf is headed to SD right now and is planning on bringing me back a handful in her luggage.
