Founders Double Trouble Is Here!

Picked up a pack over the weekend near Columbus for an IPA taste night for Fathers day. And I was disappointed that it was the worst of the bunch! DT is one of my most favorites too! I couldnt figure out what happened. (It was up against Dirtwolf, Sculpin, and Enjoy By)

Drank another hoping it would get better, no dice. Checked the date, 4/3/13. Boy was I ticked at myself for not checking at the store, but more ticked that these were in the cooler acting all fresh n' shit!

 

Damn dude, that store should pull those off the shelf.

 

Yea. I'm headed back to that area tonight, and if I have time I'm going to stop in. They had a bunch still in the cooler.

 

Picked up 2 4pks at Kays wine and Spirits in East Hartford if any body in CT is looking for it. Been waiting all year for this since I missed getting it last year

 

Nothing in S.CT. as far as I know.Whats the bottled on date?

5/29/14 is the date. Pretty fresh, not too bad. Just glad I got it, as these founders Speciality brews run out quite quick.

That's dirty. I've seen a local store do this - when the new seasonal release starts coming out they threw the old stock out on the shelves (which wasn't out before that). I no longer support this store as there's no excuse for that.

 

I got some DT at my packy bottled 5/29/14 was gonna pick some up....but now you guys are making me skeptical...

Yep, it was the state liquor store in reynoldsburg for anyone who cares. Stopping by tonight to voice my displeasure, and to see if they have any 3Floyds hidden in back to make things better

 

My local store got it in today. Drove down there at lunch. They rang up at $21.99 per 4 pack. I couldn't convince the guy that he's way off on this so I left and will probably never return.

 

Might take you up on that offer. Rimann is on my way home from work and I know they sometimes will have things a bit longer than you'd expect. Gonna go check after work today.
