For the time being, they have what is probably one of the best price points for the growing session ale segment in All Day IPA. They have what Bells had with Oberon many years ago, an accessible craft brew that can be enjoyed on a hot summer afternoon. Rather anecdotal, but when I put an All Day in the hands of a BMC drinker they are usually pleasantly surprised at the flavor.

I sure would love to see something from Founders in the Seattle area so we can taste what all the hoopla is about...

Local distribution of seasonals seems to fall off when breweries expand distribution- some of them like to flood new markets with gems/rare beers/seasonals to attract people to the brand and make them feel like they're "investing" in a new market.

Still, Founders Imperial Stout is one of my top three all-time stouts, and Breakfast Stout is pretty awesome as well.

just because i dont have to have it doesnt mean i dont buy it...devil dancer is a ripoff but outside of it i buy almost everything that they release throughout the year..and when available i always have a 15 pack of all day in the fridge..it just blows my mind how much they have grown in just 4 years!

You don't get Founders until we get Firestone Walker and Ballast Point. We only gave San Diego area Bell's cuz Stone finally started giving us Enjoy By.

After meeting some Michigan BA's and hearing how I had a much easier time getting 4 packs of KBS in Iowa than they did in the motherland, I was honestly a little angry. Shame on you Founder's. Take care of your locals first, they got you where you are.

Now for some praise - thanks for the extra 3 beers in the all day packs. That was nice of you. 6-packs of FBS would also be nice.

The new location is much bigger yet they are always packed. I once worked for an A-B distributor and I am amazed at the shelf space craft/Michigan beer is getting now compared to 10 years ago, and Founders is the biggest in West Michigan (with Bells).

I'm surprised they aren't getting on the Asheville NC train with the expansion, or at least somewhere closer to one of the coasts that would enable them to distribute fresher beer to more of the country. I consider Founders the number two, in terms of reliable quality, in MI and certainly in the top tier in the Midwest -- it isn't surprising that they are seeing good growth.

I can't wait to toast these guys when I head up there in a week. Maybe they'll tap a KBS keg in my honor of celebrating their honor. #wishfulthinking

    Hats off to Founders!

So happy to see this. Also part of a maturing market that is long overdue.

This is good news. Was actually shocked to find Double Troublen on the shelves in Ft Lauderdale today.

I'd love to see Founders actually distribute a reasonable amount of brews including their limited/seasonal offerings within their original distribution footprint before bringing in new market after new market.

If this keeps more of their Breakfast and Imperial Stouts on the shelves I'm all for it.

I'm gonna be so upset if they don't use that 665 BBL fermentor exclusively for CBS. Right guys?!

No doubt, hopefully this will mean distro to WA state: I haven't had a single Founders brew and it would be very nice to check them out.

Fell off? I'm getting my first taste of this beer from a friend tomorrow, and I'm assuming it's from this year's batch - what's up?
