Can anyone confirm that a 4 pack of Harvest ale will be close to $20?

No way.. That would be crackhead pricing. Great beer, but I'd walk by all day at that insanity.

Just picked up a sixer of Mosaic Promise, excited to try it out when I get home later.

It's not a fall pack, it's individual releases. And they all should go everywhere Founders usually distributes to.

Doesn't anyone remember what happened to Red's Rye? It went from something like $10.99 a 6pk to 11.99 a 4pk. More than a 60% price increase at the lowest estimate. I'm not saying that the price hike on Harvest and BwB is definitely happening, I'm just saying don't be surprised if it does.

Spoke to one of the head brewers from Founders who came into town the other day, he said that Backwoods Bastard should be more widely available to their distro states this year! Said there was a shortage last year, that they weren't expecting...but it happened. But, went to say that is was corrected this year and won't happen again.

    YAY BEER! :grinning:

Here it is, I found it HA! I felt like they made they change last fall but I guess it's been longer than that. Red's Rye fell out of yearly distro in bottles because of its sort shelf life. I live in GR so if I wants some I just grab a growler from the taproom for $8. I see it around now at $12 a four pack and I feel bad for you guys who love it and have to pay that now.

Happily, the shortage never made it to Philly. Had one last night (almost a year old)...fantastic at 1 year of age:rolling_eyes:

I have a 2012 Backwoods Bastard waiting for me in the fridge. Think I might crack it tonight, but I'm not sure. :grimacing: (MUST MAKE TIME!!!)

Got a case of FBS and a six pack Mosaic Promise today.

Mosaic Promise definitely delivers. Color me impressed.

Distribution is weird. I live in Detroit and won't see FBS until next Wednesday probably.

That's really strange. It's not even like I live in upstate NY or NYC. I live in Suffolk County.

I've had my beefs with Founders' distro in the past, but I didn't realize it was THAT bad.

FBS just dropped in Atlanta yesterday. Bottled 9/1/2014. Nice to get it so fresh--I cannot wait to give it a try this evening.

They've been having problems with SE Mich distro for a while now, like last year when Harvest took weeks to get here after it had already popped up all over the country.
