I've got a Sour Reserve 2, BCBS '09 bomber, and HandFarm batch1, we took over a large table in the back room for people who want to bottle share.

So did anyone get shanked trying to cut in line for KBS when it was tapped? Looks pretty packed in the photos I've seen posted on FB.

 

Nope, it actually cleared out prior to that. They just tapped a surprise keg of Zhukovs Final Push FTW. Sick bottle share tonight. We had BA9K, Sour Reserve B2, Fou Foune among others...

I walked in right before it tapped(KBS), I don't know what side it was cleared out on not in the front half of the back bar. I ended up getting two flight sized by buying the guy at the bar ordering two his. Even though I have had it several times, it was well worth it. Too crowded for my taste honestly, but it seemed like everyone was having fun and in good spirits. Didn't see any aggro behavior for the whole hour I was there.

 

Ah, mad I missed the Final Push...seems I will never be able to try that beer! Still, I had a blast at the event, got to try everything of note and a few of the year-rounders. Bought three pours of KBS and gave away 2, because sharing is caring, right? Some random guy even gave me a pour of Big Bad Baptist (what a coffee-forward monstrosity!). I love the beer community! Events like this make me proud to be a craft beer drinker. Also, drobbieb, was I the one that helped you get two KBS? Your story seems familiar.

 

Left a bit after kbs, did they really tap final push?

 

I was in TW St. Pete yesterday. Asked the main beer guy there what Founders they would have. He pulled up the listing on the computer and said these would be in the store today (Monday). Going from memory here....

• All Day IPA
• Centennial IPA
• Double Trouble
• Porter
• Pale Ale
• Rubaeus

I think he may have mentioned Harvest and Red's Rye, but can't be certain. The bulleted ones above were definitely mentioned though.

I'd check the TW site, but it appears to be down right now.

 

It would seem to be a little early for Harvest - don't usually see it until later in the fall.

 

And a little late for Double Trouble. It was a May/June release.

 

Maybe so, were you sitting at the bar(you had just taken the seat from another guy), I tapped your shoulder and I asked if you were getting two? I asked if you would buy me two as well and I would give my card for all of them? I then walked away and some people passed my card to me. If so thanks! I was pretty sure I was going to get skunked by the way I saw Billy was pouring them with the tap wide open filling glass by glass and watching 4-6 go away every 2 seconds.

 

Hah, that was me! Thank you for the KBS, and always happy to help! I ended up giving the pours to two fellows that would have been skunked otherwise, hope you don't mind!

Last night was insanely packed. Kudos to CCB for putting on such a great party and to all those who went for keeping calm and not going all beer geek agro. I'm sure there were more than one or two instances where people were bumped into and beer was spilled, yet I didn't see a single person get angry because of it.

Also thanks to all those who were popping bottles in the back. I got to meet a bunch of BAs I've never met before and try some great beers (special thanks go to LiquidDegenerate for that BA9K, that stuff is phenomenal)

 

My liver needs a few days off. Thank goodness for understanding spouses and designated drivers!

 

It was crazy packed in there and right before I left my feet were showered in puke.... but I did get a sip of fou foune thanks to masspike85 sooo... evens it out I guess.

 

Puke? Really? My buddy had to stop an "argument" before it escalated last night. It was crazy, I'm glad it cleared out right after KBS though. It allowed gunhaver to put on Final Push. You're welcome on the Fou Foune, wasn't my bottle just the pour I got so I can't take all the credit for that.
