So I'd really like to save a bottle of Frangelic Mountain Brown for Thanksgiving, maybe even Christmas. I know that coffee beers don't always age well, especially if you really enjoy the coffee notes...Any thoughts on whether 5 or 6 month old FMB will still be drinking as well as right now? Don't want the coffee/hazelnut element to fade too much on me.

Drink it now. Buy some other beer fresh for Thanksgiving or Christmas. There's plenty of them to choose from.

If this is your greatest concern, drink ASAP.

If there's a special reason that you want to save a bottle that outweighs your point above, then do as MordorMongo says above:

Thanks, everyone, for the input; think I'll enjoy them before the holidays.

I've had a Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout at least a year after purchase.... tasted pretty darn good.. No hazelnut though ..

I'm planning on waiting til it cools down just slightly and is less humid. Hazelnut coffee isn't terribly appealing to a guy with no air conditioning in the middle of a heat wave.

I think you are worried for nothing, it should drink fine in 5-6 months.
