Anyone seeing Founders Frootwood yet? If so, any thoughts? I see there's a thread in the Beer Releases forum but more intesested in knowing when it's going to hit Indy and any thoughts on how it is. Thanks!

Came and went at Drake's in Kalamazoo earlier this week. Indiana tends to be a bit behind in Michigan releases, so I'm guessing we may see some next week.

it almost tastes like a mediocre cherry mead. I bought one 4 pack and that was plenty.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out here, in the NW corner of the State. Did you see it bombers, 4 packs or both?

Still not here...anyone else? We had FIS finally show. Tomorrow is a big distro day here so hoping to see it. Preferably in 4 packs so that I can drink one forthwith on my own.

My buddy in Milwaukee has historically got the Founders limited release stuff (Backwoods, Backstage beers, etc) a week before us in Chicago. I'm guessing next week.

Had this on tap. A little too sweet for me. I'm sure there will be fans, though.

I agree, not quite my cup of...ah beer.

Should be here in Northern Indiana this week I'm told by local bottle shop. Possible 1 4-pk limit and a few 750s available as well.

I was surprised how limited this was, at least the 12 Oz bottles. Most shops were a one bottle limit. I haven't even seen the 750ml bottles anywhere. If this is any indication of how limited the barrel aged series will be, CBS has the potential to be the largest whale hunt in the history of craft beer:angry:.
I thought Frootwood was ok, would be an amazing summer beer. Don't understand the logic or a January release.
