Founders Harvest Ale (2013)

Why is this so slow getting out in the GL region, including MI? I was drinking this on 10/14 last year in WI. Is it going to be a month old before it even shows up?

 

Goto the source if you have the time...the brewery has tons of it on hand in bottles and on tap...

 

Was going to go last weekend for the Harvest party, but couldn't turn down Spartan tickets.

I'll get some, no doubt, just irritating to see it in Illinois, etc.. and my bottle shop has expected now for two Fridays in a row. SE MI.

 

Agreed...not sure what thats about as it happens with other beers of theirs of course...I was pleasantly surprised to walk outta there last wkd with a case and 2 growlers of it...if you're close to A2 I'll give you a bottle of two...

 

I should get some, but if it gets past this Friday, I will start to get concerned...

My store said Thursday or Friday. Depends on distributor. I was hopeful for last TH/FRI, but I would expect this week.

 

Whats your store?

 

I live on the east side...Lville gets Founders in on Thursdays. Chucks in Chagrin Falls on Fridays. Chuck's doesn't get a lot of this stuff though, so I'm not counting on them (lists as well). Red Wine and Brew in Chesterland gets Founders on Thursdays. Warehouse in So. Euclid gets it in on Friday's, but I usually call them to make sure b/c it's inconvenient to get there. I'm not sure what day Heinen's gets there Founders, but earlier this year they got lots of KBS so I just stop by everyday after work to check. I'll post if they have some.

 

Anyone know when this will hit Western NY?

 

Cool, thanks. Warehouse Bev seems to be the first to get a lot of stuff. First ones I have heard that got Victory DirtWolf in.

 

So I take it no one has seen it in NC yet? Seems to be a little later this year, not sure if anyone else has noticed that or not. Twiddling my thumbs and drumming my fingers on the desk, impatiently waiting.

 

I hope you haven't done it, this first shipment is just a teaser. Founders is shipping out more this week, and more is supposed to be coming to Chicagoland with this weeks shipment.

Founder's just replied to my tweet and said that Harvest Ale will be in Iowa next week.

 

so nothing in SE michigan yet, but hopefully tomorrow or friday then?

 

I talked to my buddy who works at a liquor store yesterday and asked him about this beer. He said that Founders only shipped out 40 cases last week, and that there is a lot more to come.

 

Went to Champanes and it wasn't there yet, and they have no idea when.

I asked my distributor (Rave) yesterday and he didn't know.. so it's pretty doubtful for next week too.

 

FFF Broo Doo should be out relatively soon as well

 

I've already drank 2 bombers myself.
