founders harvest ale in north nj

Garys Wayne got theirs Monday, sold out same day. Guy on the phone lied to me saying they didn't get a shipment. Totowa wine and bev got it today and sold out in hours. Had no idea it would be this hard to land some.

 

my hunterdon salesaman said he got 5 cases for all his accounts, wont be much to go around

 

I was at Little Brothers in Flemington today and they had at least 4 or 5 four packs sitting on the shelf, plus a few more on the ground. I picked one up. About to try it out.

 

I'm officially discouraged. If I don't get to WF Paramus right away on Friday I'm sure it will all be gone, and I have commitments that night- so making a 30 min. side excursion may not be in the cards. Damn Flanders...err, Founders!

 

I know this isn't north NJ, but I picked up a 4pk if this at Canals Woodbridge/Iselin yesterday. Seemed to be some more on shelves. Hope I can help

 

My Hoboken store just go their Harvest Ale..just one case though. Is that it?? Or is that just the first wave of Harvest Ale coming?

 

I don't understand the hype around this beer....i had a bottle last year and, it was good but nothing to go nuts over....typical supply/demand hype

 

This is the last beer i have yet to try from Founders that is listed on their website.

 

Ramsey liquor is Ramsey had 1 four pack for 10 bucks. That's all that was left.

Wine World didn't/won't get any
Marketplace didn't have any
Oak Tree didn't have any
Joe Canal's in Iselin/Woodbridge was sold out
Valley Liquor sold out

 

I'll check Bottle King tomorrow, but don't have high expectations. This one case per store crap is too insane for me to participate in the Founders cult anymore. No matter how it goes tomorrow, I may be over them- getting a final four pack of Harvest would just make it a nicer farewell.

 

Whole foods in Paramus has some. Have to ask for it. Kinda dumb that its only 2bottles per customer. Then when I got to the register, charged me 4 for each bottle. Ridiculous when 4 packs are going for $11. Also had some barrel aged Boris.
