Founders - Harvest Ale - Indiana Availability?

    I saw online Founders released Harvest Ale a couple weeks ago but I've yet to see it in stores in Indianapolis. I'm wondering if it's around and stores are just holding out and playing the "I only allocate to who I like" game or if it's even in the area yet. Anyone seen it in Indy? If not, thoughts on arrival?

    I don't think it's actually out yet. Their Harvest Fest party to release the beer at the Taproom is tomorrow, and I don't believe it hits distro until after that.

    I can't speak for IN but I know it has been available in WI for at least a week.

    I can't speak to Indiana, but it's certainly out in the Chicago area. I'd hit up beermenus and see if anyone has it locally for you.

    I've seen it posted in the WBAYD thread for a couple of weeks now. I'm in the NW corner of the state and distribution here for most releases always lags far behind most states. By the time Harvest showed up last year it was almost two months old. Another reason I'm glad I border two other states to defect to for my beer purchases.

    On a side note.... I bought some Victory Harvest today when I struck out looking for Founders Harvest and Sixpoint Sensi. A really good example of the style in my opinion.

    I looked on TappedIn and couldn't find it on a beer menu anywhere either.

    I resorted to a bomber of Enjoy By and Ruination. Maybe I'll try the Victory Harvest too.

    I recommend North Peak's Hoodoo wet hop IPA 8.0% for seekers of Michigan harvest IPA's. In my opinion it is destroying Founders Harvest(which I haven't seen yet)

    Couldn't wait for it to arrive in IN. My local bottle shop said it was probably arriving sometime this week, but I went up to MI to get some last weekend. Just got done enjoying a bottle while walking around the farm enjoying the sunset and color of the leaves.
