Hello out there. I want to make this the year that I finally try Founder's Harvest. Anyone know when, where or if this will be available in the Madison area? My usual shop has all the Founder's stuff, but I've never seen Harvest. I would ask them, but when I'm there it's usually staffed by kids that don't look like the are old enough to drink and are usually not a lot of help. Thanks and cheers!

There appears to be no rhyme or reason as to when/where Harvest Ale is available this year unfortunately. It's been out in Grand Rapids since the beginning of the week, but none has made it to Kalamazoo MI yet, while a friend just texted me that he just picked some up in Cincinnati.

It's in Naperville, it's in Cincinnati, yet it hasn't hit Kalamazoo yet. *sigh*

Picked up two 4-packs + a Founders snifter at the brewery today and it was $31.00 total.

Find it tough to blame distributors that easily, since Founders usually sets hard release dates on their new beers. I don't know when distributors got Dark Penance, but I know there have been occasions with Founders as well as other breweries where new beers sat in a warehouse because the brewery wanted it to all go out on a certain date.
